BOSTON CELTICS

They lost again today to a team below 500. I think they got tired in the regular season, having the longest winning streak for this year. To top it off, they got no legit center playing the past games after the Perkins trade.

But I’m not giving up on the Cs. Come Playoffs, thats where you see who’s the best.

AZKALS

I’ve been wanting to write a full blog on this team and what they should aspire more than winning. Legacy. A trophy here and there shouldn’t be their priority. Those trophies won’t remain in the minds of the people generations from now. But if they can help put up the sports of futbol next to basketball in this country, or even topple basketball, then I believe it’s like winning the World Cup. Individual accolades are nothing compared to being part of the Azkals team who can make history by not just starting the euphoria, but by making football a household word in this country. If they can push our public officials to sponsor bills and get funding to put up a pitch in all barangays of this country, then that would be the day that we will belong to the Football fanatics of the world.

It would be my dream to live long enough to see the Philippines playing in the world cup.
