Buying Luxury Items

When buying luxury items or those that are not part of your normal expenses, buy something that will make you smile at night, and not something that will make you fidget and regret just because it wasn’t in your budget. go and save more money and wait until you have enough to buy that costly item, rather than buying a cheaper item that isn’t really what you wish for.

Resume 101 for Fresh Graduates

I’ve been doing a round of interviews for our hiring and I’ve come across a lot of Resumes and CVs (oh the difference between the two? The former is more of a summary of skills while the latter is a historical detail of your work experiences, but both can be a mixture of everything).

What I noticed with fresh graduates or those with a bit of 1 or 2 year work experience is that they try to put every skill that they laid hands to even if they are not good at it. Don’t include a skill set in your resume if you can’t perform it. Employers will look at your resume because they are searching for people with a specific skill. They expect that if you write it down, you can hit the ground running on that specific skills set.

Also, no need to include Personal Information (well if you’re applying with professional companies.. but if you’re in an old paradigm company, those that don’t automate their procedures , you know what i mean), then go ahead put a picture, put your family, put your ninongs and ninangs :)
