Closure and break-ups

  

I have yet to have a break-up where the closure was done in a civil manner, the way it should be. Most were done via text messages and some had no closure at all. It’s not good. I am not proud of these break-ups. Leaves me thinking what’s wrong with me. I would have wanted to have sat down and discuss the break up (be it her initiating it or me) , but it seems Pinays are not just ready yet to handle these closures, done via dinner and talking about why the relationship had to end in an objective manner. 

I honestly think I would have felt less heart aches if those break-ups had good closures. It would have explained a lot of stuff right there and then and I wouldn’t have to torture myself thinking of the why’s and what ifs. It would have also explained myself to them on why I felt it wasn’t working. 

I also think break-up sex should be a requirement for all girls or boys of splitting up with their partners.
